Started the Rest Day with breakfast at Lighthouse Cafe with Barbara. Then the hotel shuttle took me to the Larkspur Ferry, a half hour ride into San Francisco. I walked around for an hour before meeting Radford classmate Kathy Kent Teplitz for lunch – we have known each other for over 50 years! Delightful meal and additional wandering in the Embarcadero area. Sad that the fire smoke made the views so hazy.
Back in Corte Madera, I went to the post office, to the mall, to the grocery, and then cleaned my bike — another relaxing day, and only 8 miles of walking!
