Wow! It is December 1st, the thermometer hit 60 degrees, some sun, plenty of wind. Don and I rode our singles to the start of the CIBA (Central Indiana Bicycling Assn) ride, then selected the long route (33 miles), knowing that we would cut off somewhere before the end to ride home I ended up with 51 miles! Definitely needed the sag stop for time off the saddle and some sugar, as I was drooping badly while riding into the wind. I can surely feel my muscles, but it is a good feeling!
After cycling six times while in Seattle for Thanksgiving, plus my twice weekly cycle fitness classes, I am trying hard to get/stay in shape. My aerobic capacity is helped by the intervals in cycle fitness class; hills in Seattle were a help; just need to keep my bottom supple….
