Musings about fun between my legs

Dream Fulfilled

May 2: Palatka to St. Augustine, FL

It only seems appropriate for rain on our final day. Actually, when we started at 6:30 am, it was barely a drizzle. Don and Ray were riding about 10 miles out on our route, Linda would ride the 40 miles to the St. John’s Fire Station.

We passed potato fields, so I identified by Linda, as Hastings is the Potato Capital of Florida.

Also, very healthy corn.

The faster groups left more than 20 minutes after us, but caught up at the sag stop at Racy Point, a great place for lots of photos, with the St. John’s River in the background.

Our marshaling point was the St. John’s County Fire Station. There we would meet up with our police escort, but also a great location for more photos.
